NO REGRETS

I've been super busy these last couple of weeks trying to promote and advertise The Guardian novel series. When I tell you guys that  it has been work, I mean every word of it LOL.  I'm finding myself wearing so many different hats that at moments I have to just take a seat and take a break. Sometimes when I do that I start doubting myself. I start questioning my abilities. I start wondering to myself: " Am I just wasting my time? Is this another awesome thing God has giving me that will not go as far as I want it to, as I need it to?"

I hate feeling that way. It makes every task and setback seem like an uphill battle. I hate thinking such negative thoughts because they only make the goal much harder to achieve. You know, I realized that  we worry so much about how other people view us, when the fact is;  we are our own worst critics.
You know how people say " You are what you think you are?" Well when I first heard that, I was all like, "whatever, yeah right."  But now as I have gotten older, wiser, and more experienced I realize that every word of that saying is so true!

When I choose to think about all the negative things that could happen, when I began to question myself, my gift, my worth, I subliminally teach my mind to believe those thoughts and thus each task becomes arduous. "Doors" seem to stay closed. Opportunities seem to pass by. I do not produce "good fruit" for lack of a better term. When I think positive though, keeping the visions that God gave me in my head,  and begin " Pressing toward the mark of the high calling of God; which is in Christ Jesus". ( thanks Paul) I began to move in new directions. Mundane tasks become exciting. Doors began to open. I see light at the end of the tunnel. I make progress!

So I guess my point is, we can't wait for our dreams and visions to happen. We have to do whatever it takes to make them happen. I refuse to tell myself I can't do something.  Positive thinking attracts positive actions.  I am dropping the word "if"  and picking up the word "when."  I refuse to accept limitations in this life!  I will not  be the old woman sitting on the porch in her rocking chair, shouting at the kids, all wrinkled up, super disappointed in the life I chose to live. There's no motivation in that!

I will be that awesome beautiful granny who inspires her family to LIVE OUT LOUD DAILY! Until that time though, cause that's like 40 years down the line KML! I am going to believe in me, break down barriers, and impact the world! You guys just watch how awesome that's going to turn out!!
