I have being feeling very poetic for the last couple of months. It seems like thoughts and words just pop into my mind out of nowhere. Then something compels me to write each word down with vigor. Trying with everything in me to hear every word and thought clearly. See the meaning in each phrase. Then ponder over their existence.
I think this is how dreams are birthed. They're words, desires, feelings, and emotions that are so deeply rooted within you that you just have to get them out. To not do so will leave a hole in your spirit that cannot be mended until you start believeing in your visions. They say you are the only person who can determine your destiny. This is true.
It starts with your mind though. You have to train your mind to start truly believing in you. That means you have to encourage yourself, speak life to yourself, and then live. Your destiny is waiting for you to grab it. It's not going to be easy, but the wisest of us once said " anything worth having, is worth waiting for, and praying for."
So be you. Whoever that is. Your dream is as attainable as you want it to be. Push through, stand firm, plant the seed, water it, and then wait for it to grow. That's all you can do. That's all that's required. Oh and love your neighbor! Lol. You knew that already though!
So here's a poem that sprang into my mind as I sat thinking this morning...
The sun said to the sky "it's going to be a beautiful day. I'll shine my light, while you cover up space."
The sky replied to the sun "what a beautiful plan...How I wish we could teach this philosophy to the souls of man. For if each one of them were to simply do their part, they could walk in light forever with no fear of the dark...."
Said the sun to the sky " what you say is true indeed. For together they shall soar; whereas divided all hope leaves...."
